Department: Mixing/Rotocure

Hourly: $16.72

Full Time

Shift: 1st 5am-3pm Mon- Thurs (occasional OT)


Job Duties:

  • Must possess a forklift license and be able to drive a forklift.
  • Follow and support all safety rules and regulations.
  • Assure forklift is in proper working order and fill out Daily Truck Report.
  • Move proper approved stock to breakdown mill. Assure Millman has all cure additives and master batch required. When acquiring supplies, fill out Material Requisition sheet and turn in at the end of the shift.
  • Assure the Operator and Take-off have all that is required, such as skids or cardboard cores.
  • As needed, make sure boxes are available for trim, scrap, and trash. When boxes are full, weigh and identify them with Yellow Dumped Stock tickets and move to proper locations.
  • Move finished roll skids to warehouse staging area.
  • Weigh and identify any setup or rejected stock and move to proper locations.
  • Check schedule and with Team Leader to determine what stock and number of batches to deliver to #1 Banbury or #1 Banbury drop mill.
  • Move stock to elevator for stocks being broken down in Banbury or to #1 Banbury drop mill for stocks being broken down on mill. Look through stock racks for any SS stock for stock being cut or rolled.
  • Move full skids of cut stock to Press Room stock rack.
  • Move rolls from line and deliver to roll racks at Flat Press.
  • Move mixed stock away from Banbury Take off area and place in designated racks according to equipment that stock will be used as shown on stock control ticket.
  • Move any red tag mixed or cut stock to red tag rack.
  • Deliver empty pallets and other supplies to cutting lines and Banbury Take off as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and work instructions.

MATH ABILITY

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers.


COMPUTER SKILLS

Incumbent needs a basic understanding of computers and printers

Operating manufacturing equipment is considered a "Safety Sensitive" function. A Safety-Sensitive Function, as defined by the Company, is one that requires the operation of motor vehicles, forklifts, or motorized warehouse equipment, or one that involves inspecting, servicing, conditioning, controlling, supervising, loading or unloading such machinery. Employees performing "Safety-Sensitive Functions" are prohibited from reporting to work or being on duty while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
