Position: Contracts Administrator
Location: Folsom, California
Compensation Range: $30 - $40/hour
Position Summary
The position will support Construction Operations by performing the following duties which will differ according to business needs.
Key Responsibilities
· Create, send, and track all subcontracts, work orders, and purchase contracts in a timely and accurate manner.
· Utilize Docusign for sending contracts electronically, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
· Oversee the document compliance of subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project requirements and regulations.
· Maintain organized documentation of contracts and related correspondence for easy retrieval and reference.
· Collaborate with management, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve any contract language-related issues or discrepancies.
· Develop and implement efficient processes for subcontract preparation, streamlining workflows and improving overall efficiency.
· Collaborate with project management teams to educate them on subcontract requirements, ensuring clear understanding and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
· Proactively identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance contract administration procedures.
· Assist in the development and maintenance of standardized contract templates, ensuring consistency and accuracy in contract documentation.
· Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to contract administration and compliance, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
· Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
· Familiarity with public works and prevailing wage requirements
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Basic understanding of contract law and legal terminology relevant to the construction industry can help ensure contracts are legally sound and compliant.
· Understanding of basic accounting principles and familiarity with financial terms and concepts related to contracts, such as payment terms and billing procedures.
· The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, legal counsel, and finance personnel, to achieve common goals and objectives.
· Must be authorized to work in the United States.
