POSITION OVERVIEW:
The IT Specialist will supply end-user support in all things related to computers, mobile devices, networking, software, printers, and copiers where the following services will be performed: set-up, installation, troubleshooting, upgrades, diagnostics, and maintenance in a Microsoft Windows domain environment.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical support via ticketing system, email, phone, or chat.
- Support and troubleshoot IT infrastructure including Servers, Desktops, Laptops, and Network equipment.
- Follow up on open tickets to ensure proper response and satisfactory resolution and keep detail-oriented documentation regarding problems and solutions.
- Printer and copier toner and maintenance
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Associates degree or an equivalent of related professional experience is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of working autonomously and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Microsoft Windows, Active Directory and Office 365 experience.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience are required.
- A Certification, Cisco Certified Network Professional, Or Microsoft Certified Professional certifications strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Microsoft Active Directory and other Microsoft technologies.
- Database experience (MSSQL Preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Formulas, PivotTables, BI Connectivity)
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- 100% on-site
- 300 Desktop users across multiple locations
- 90% office environment and 10% warehouse environment
- Travel may be required
Professional office environment. Primary office environment is ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
