Graves Foods is a 75-year-old wholesale foodservice distribution company located throughout the Midwest. Graves delivers quality foodservice products to nursing homes, schools, restaurants, and other foodservice providers throughout the Midwest. We are looking for warehouse workers for our Jefferson City location. This is a wonderful opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing company.   

POSITION OVERVIEW:   

Graves Foods is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Jefferson City, MO. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, including inventory management, order processing, and documentation, while adhering to safety and quality standards. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Enter data into warehouse management systems to update inventory, shipments, and order information.
  • Perform inventory control by checking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining inventory records.
  • Print and attach pallet labels to ensure proper identification and tracking of shipments.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies.
  • Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping according to customer specifications.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:   

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50lbs consistently.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control software is a plus.
  • Must have prior experience with ERP systems or a similar platform or demonstrate the ability to learn quickly. Strong computer skills are essential for this role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work night shifts and have flexibility with overtime if needed.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
     

SCHEDULE: Sunday-Thursday 4pm-12a overtime as needed.   

COMPENSATION: Up to - $18.00/hour
