What are the responsibilities and job description for the HCP Engagement Manager position at GSK?

This position will be responsible for working with leaders across GSK to develop and execute an HCP engagement plan for promotional programs using a multichannel approach. They will be a strategic partner to brands and the Field in designing novel HCP Engagement tactics with a focus on innovation to enhance the reach and engagement of high target customers. They will develop recommendations aligned to brand priorities including identification of appropriate vendor resources/capabilities. They are responsible for vendor selection, implementation and oversight and must ensure compliance with GSK policies across all stakeholders through strong operational processes and controls. The Engagement Manager will interact regularly with Brand Marketing Directors, Sales Leaders and Field Personnel, Compliance, Legal, Contracting, and Procurement
The commercial areas of remit within the purview of the HCP Engagement Manager include, but are not limited to;
- Drive implementation of novel HCP Engagement Programs in partnership with senior stakeholders in the Sales and Marketing organization in support of HCP Engagement strategy ensuring compliant operations and mitigating risk
- Drive operational efficiency through technology delivering cutting edge concepts that maximize automation, reduce risk, and achieve desired outcomes.
- Lead Matrix teams of business partners consisting of Brand Marketing, Sales, Medical, Compliance, Legal, and GSK Tech to effectively identify and transition HCP Engagement activities to new vendor(s) as required and successfully enable the Marketing and Field organizations to reach their HCP Engagement program goals. Ensure ownership, alignment and clarity across the matrix.
- Manage vendor relationships including monitoring performance, adherence and execution of contractual obligations. Provide feedback and drive accountability to consistently provide an excellent customer experience.
- Ensures compliance standards are communicated and enforced by creating and delivering trainings for the field and stakeholders regarding HCP Engagement. Monitor activities and act as appropriate to drive efficiency and compliance.
- Successfully resolve HCP program issues and barriers.
- Provide business leadership and representation for special projects / cross functional initiatives driving departmental changes impacting business processes or systems as required.
- Apply business improvement principles to continuously improve current processes while also pursuing proactive identification and communication of potential risk in HCP processes.

- Business acumen combined with understanding of Marketing and Field cultures
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Proven vendor/agency management and/or procurement experience
- Project Management experience
- Change management and communication skills
- Experience working on HCP Engagement events, including speaker programs (live and virtual), National Broadcasts and Product Theatres at national conventions
