As a Logistics Assistant III, you will provides support to manage controls around receipt, storage and shipment of Raw Materials and Finished Goods in a cGMP environment.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following
- Expedite the receipt of Certificate of Analysis, SDS and other required documentation to initiate inspection process for the arrival of inventory.
- Assume responsibility as the first point of contact for emergencies relating to warehouse alarms, emergency material requests and offsite Warehouse activities.
- Process all MERPS related transactions including Goods Receipts, Transfer Orders, Destroy Orders, Inventory adjustments etc.
- Complete inspections and maintain records for SDS, truck driving hours and inspection, material handling equipment and department safety inspections etc.
- Train new warehouse staff on use of all GSK systems and practices including MERPS, MyLearning, CDMS, safety policies and cGMP requirements.
- Complete all training assignments in a timely manner.
- Execute the shipping of Bulk Products following established procedures to insure quality integrity and on time delivery.
- Arrange for removal of Hazardous waste from the warehouse and help enforce proper labeling of Hazardous waste material.
- Act as the central customer contact for all outgoing shipments and all inventory managed materials.
- Keep Warehouse SOPs updated and accurate, ensuring area adheres to all Zoning and 5S implementation.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- High School Diploma
Familiarity with warehouse environment, inventory control systems
Material handling experience including fork lift training
Basic computer literacy; Excel, Word. Basic reading, writing and communication skills required as a minimum
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Understanding of GSK processes and Systems
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and adequate knowledge of Planning and Inventory Control
- Process thinker to enhance cross functional interaction with other departments
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge in team building and customer care
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
