Payroll Coordinator:
- Complete biweekly payroll processing including creation of final payroll files, adding commissions, bonuses, and other pay cycle entries.
- Ensure all administrators and managers timely approve all employees submitted time.
- Utilize Paycom, online submission portals, and various reporting software tools.
- Distribute biweekly reports to managers and leaders on key payroll metrics.
- Post payroll G/L reports into financial accounting system E-Emphasis (eXtend).
- Transmit 401K, HSA, Union reports via online connections.
- Work with benefit providers to manage administrative changes, communications, and updates.
- Review, approve, and assign G/L code to monthly benefit invoices; send to A/P for payment.
- Manage and complete all benefit enrollments for new hires, enrollment changes during the year, and updates to deductions, contributions, or other requested changes.
- Assist in support of annual open enrollment process.
- Assist managers with distribution and collection of annual reviews.
- Track and approve reimbursements of tools, safety boots, safety glasses, etc. according to company policies.
- Track and update employee PTO balances to adjust annually and prorate for new hires.
- Print, assemble, and ship HR orientation binders to new hires.
- Act as point of contact for employee benefit questions and provide answers according to plans and policies.
- Assist with monthly orientation meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
