Makerhouse is looking for a dynamic, versatile Art Producer to play a key role on our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting productions across multiple Ford nameplates and brands, inclusive of the following areas:
- Photography
- CGI Assets
- Stock Photography
- Illustration
- Design
- Animation/Video

In this role you will…
The Art Producer works with all agencies to understand their needs/tasks and to coordinate processes accordingly. Specific roles include:
- Act as liaison with creative, project management and account groups.
- Review and select production vendors for still imagery (photography and CGI), retouching, illustration, design and animation/video.
- Evaluate creative ideas with production considerations.
- Provide input related to photo usage/licensing.
- Create estimates and schedules as needed.
- Anticipate, discuss, and resolve any potential production problems.
- Ensure that the creative idea remains intact throughout production.
- Arrange for appropriate reviews of work-in-progress with internal and external teams
- Procure production materials in accordance with approved client and internal processes.
- Continually expand knowledge of appropriate production resources.
- Maintain a strong link with the outside supplier/vendor partner community to encourage
- the discussion of new ideas and technologies that can lead to better quality image production.
- Strong ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, process details so they may be followed clearly by those with whom we interact.
- An overall understanding of how the WPP @ Ford model works, and how each department contributes to the WPP policies to properly fulfill customer expectations.
You have…
- Proven Art Production, Rights Management, Vendor Management, Asset Management and Production Technology acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage and enforce best practices for production and business workflow
- Strong experience working with creative, technical, and business support resources both internally as well as externally with Suppliers and Clients
- Positive personality with ability to see solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage one or more projects simultaneously
- Develop and maintain good interpersonal skills regarding teamwork, cooperation, motivation, and listening
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in marketing/advertising account management or project management
- Financial budgeting experience
- Understanding cross channel production supply base
- Video production experience a plus
- Have physical and mental requirements to meet the above listed job responsibilities
