THE OPPORTUNITY

Media Analytics Manager

Are you all about numbers and data? Mindshare’s media team is looking for an Analytics Manager to join our team. In an age of rapid development and innovation in both advertising and automotive industries, you will influence investment decisions and best practices that will define new benchmarks and ROI for the company, client and industry.  This is an excellent opportunity to employ advanced statistical techniques in the media world such as benchmarking, reporting, attribution, optimizations, and digital analytics.  You will get exposure to the entire landscape, from search to social, digital video, programmatic, and a splash of attribution modeling. 

The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end project delivery and be responsible for leveraging software and technologies and communicating with internal stakeholders and clients.

In this role you will …

  • Perform data processing, data cleansing, and handling of raw data to produce large, structured data sets for analysis, data modeling, data governance, etc.
  • Conduct statistical analyses
  • Support reporting, data visualization and presentation building with oversight from team leader
  • Work with internal teams across Buying, Planning, Social, Platforms and Creative teams to produce client deliverables
  • Bring critical thinking into finding issues, solving problems and improving processes
  • Convert business problems into mathematical expressions and equations
  • Take full accountability of timely project delivery, producing analyses and content that is clean, organized, easy to read and understand
  • Perform storytelling from data and analyses; communicate insights to internal stakeholders and clients

You have …

  • At least 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Databases and Excel (Pivot Tables, Complex Functions, etc.)
  • Ability to perform Analytics, with ability to clearly communicate findings both written and orally
  • Persuasive and capable of getting buy-in from multiple teams and clients
  • Able to deal with and prioritize multiple business requests with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to new software, technologies, and methodologies
  • Familiarity with digital marketing ecosystem a plus
  • Experience with Web Analytics tools (Omniture, Google Analytics) and Ad Servers tools (DCM, DV360, AdWords)
  • Comfortable with statistical analysis, standard deviations, confidence intervals etc.
  • Strong communication skills for frequent contact with the media and client leadership teams
  • A leaned in and eager to learn mentality
  • The desire to work with a team and keep a positive attitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Significant organizational skills to work simultaneously on numerous projects
  • Strong analytical ability
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or Operational Research preferred
