Looking for an Opportunity to join GTE Financial in a Branch/Center Manager role? We are looking for a leader to ensure an exceptional member and employee experience. As a leader you will coach, develop, and motivate your team to achieve their full potential to support the credit union’s corporate goals and strategic plan. The Branch Manager is responsible for the growth and development of their Community Financial Center production, while developing employees to acquire new business and deepen existing business relationships. The Manager drives productivity, market growth/business development, and member/customer engagement. What does GTE look for in a Branch Manager? Marketing/Business Development: Reviews and utilizes reports to implement action plans that support sales goals for the Center. Develops and executes local strategies that increase member engagement and membership deepening. Implement actions plans to focus on areas of opportunity with all member business service products. Strong emphasis on developing the business market within the geographic proximity of the assigned Community Financial Center(s). Reviews and analyzes sales activity and forecast data to determine process towards goals and objectives. Talent Leadership: Coach, train, and manage assigned staff, ensuring adherence to Credit Union and departmental standards. Prepare timely evaluations that accurately measure employee performance and provide direction for future growth and development. Practice Integrity Coaching principles. Empower the sales team to achieve the highest performance and meet objectives set forth by leadership. Strong leadership, business acumen and strategic agility in planning, leading and driving change in the organization while meeting and exceeding business objectives. Attracts, retains, and develops talent to increase bench strength, improve productivity, proficiency, member engagement, and overall competitive position. Accountable for managing individual and team queues to ensure loan questions, and messages are responded to in a timely and professional manner. Member Experience: Strong Leader, assertive, highly motivated with sense of urgency. Monitors and tracks Community Financial Centers service quality levels. Effective negotiation, sales and relationship building skills is a must. Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline and moving sales opportunities. Partner with community organizations to establish and maintain relationships that will enhance the growth and recognition of the credit union. Operational: Reviews loan documentation for accuracy and completeness. Oversees, in conjunction with the Facilities Department, that Community Financial Center facilities are properly maintained and secured both interior and exterior. Must demonstrate a functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act Position Details: Location: Community Financial Center Hours: Monday – Friday (9:00 am to 6:00 pm) // Saturday (9:00 am to 1:00 pm) Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects. Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree required. Min 5 years’ experience preferably in the finance industry with at least 1 years’ management experience or combination of education and experience Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
