Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Generator Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle maintenance, equipment repair, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles
- Diagnose and repair engine, mechanical, and electrical issues
- Use schematics to troubleshoot problems
- Conduct generator repair and maintenance
- Utilize hand tools for repairs
- Perform heavy lifting as needed

Experience:
- Prior experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Proficiency in equipment repair
- Familiarity with Caterpillar engines is a plus
- Knowledge of soldering techniques for electrical repairs
- Ability to work with sales teams for parts ordering

Skills:
- Vehicle maintenance
- Hand tools proficiency
- Generator repair expertise
- Electrical system knowledge
- Understanding of schematics
- Equipment repair experience
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Familiarity with Caterpillar engines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

  • Diesel engine repair: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Rewiring & installing control panels and voltage regulators: 4 years (Preferred)
  • electrical safety and electrical troubleshooting protocols: 4 years (Preferred)
  • load bank tests on generators & performing voltage changes: 4 years (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Miami, FL (Required)

Work Location: In person
