What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Collector - On-Call PRN position at GTI Laboratories?
HOURS: Mon-Friday 8am-12pm
LOCATIONS TRAVELING INCLUDE:
- Around the Ft Lauderdale
PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS: Performs Blood, Toxicology, and Pathology testing in a mobile setting
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for collection of blood testing and pathology testing that may include nasal, gastro, nail, wound, and urine
- Order all supplies needed to perform testing
- Accurate data entry
- Send out specimens via FedEx and keep record of tracking information
- Communicate with supervisor and all parties associated with patient status
- Perform other program or project-related and other duties as needed or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomy Certification
REQUIREMENT(S):
- MUST be reliable and dependable
- MUST be comfortable collecting urine and nasal(if needed) from patients with our testing devices
- MUST have reliable transportation
- Communication is critical
- Professional
- Able to follow instructions
- Possess the ability to keep sensitive information confidential
- Complete HIPAA training upon hire
- Great customer service
- Valid Driver License
- Clean background check
**Hands on patient experience is not required but recommended
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
