Job Description :
Under generalsupervision follows oral or written work orders in the storage ormovement of received stock equipment or merchandise.
Uses forkliftor power devices to haul materials to or from storage or work siteto designed areas and stores items in bins on floor or on shelvesfor convenient removal.
Skills andRequirements :
- Handles raw materialssubassemblies and shipments incoming andoutgoing.
- Prepares and Issue material toMachine Shop
- Tracks codes or marks merchandisefor inventory purposes.
- Checks all pallets of productsbefore stacking to insure they are in goodcondition.
- Knowledgeable aboutcompany’s rotating system to ensure product is properlyrotated.
- Knowledgeable about productdescriptions.
- Fills walkin orders asneeded.
- Responsible for maintaining thecleanliness of the Warehousedepartments.
- Maintains all requiredcertifications required by OSHA and Company safetyprograms.
- Keeps quality up to acceptablestandards with little discrepantwork.
- Performs tasks equal to orexceeding establishedstandards.
- Accomplishes productionquotas.
- Working consistently workingovertime and traveling asrequired.
- Conducts himself / herself in abusinesslike and civil manner.
- Ability to react to changesproductively and perform other essential tasks asassigned.
Experience :
Acquiredfive or more years of related experience. Experience in Aerospace aplus
Education :
High School Diploma orequivalent GED.(MIN)
