Overview
A quantitative trading group at GTS is seeking applications to join the team. The successful candidates will work on projects across the future / etf / stock quantitative trading space, at first helping to manage trading strategies and, ultimately, designing and building profitable trading strategies. They will work closely with senior traders on strategies management. They will gain insight into how the trading desk operates and how our traders evaluate trading opportunities. They will see their work directly impact the group’s activities and drive revenue.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be a high achiever with a strong quantitative trading or Delta One trading background. They should be very comfortable working in Python. They will have a lot of initiative, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and thrive in a competitive environment.
Qualifications
- B.S./M.S. from a leading university in a quantitative discipline such as math, physics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or economics with a GPA over 3.6/4.0.
- 2 years of relevant experience as Quantitative Researcher or Quantitative Trader in Equities.
- Relevant experience includes: ETF Quantitative trading or ETF MMing
- Series SIE 57 or series 7 required
- Deep understanding and ability in mathematics and statistics.
- Strong programming skills in Python, knowledge of C is a plus
- Excellent communication skills: the ability to express complex concepts in simple terms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated interest in strategic and competitive games.

In accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $225,000. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.

Salary : $125,000 - $225,000
