- As a Storage Engineer, you will be part of a global team, managing the lifecycle for block and data protection products for the firm's enterprise-level deployments.
- You will be responsible for various efforts, installation, maintenance, upgrades, tech refresh and migrations.
Skills:
- Enable our business partners to achieve their goals by understanding their storage requirements and providing appropriate solutions in both external and internal clouds.
Basic Qualifications
- Overall 7 years of experience and at least 3 years of experience in enterprise storage, backup administration, and disaster recovery
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Pure Storage Flash Array and block storage products
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Rubrik r6000 series data protection products
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Brocade G series fabric switch products
- Familiar with operating systems, Linux, Windows, and Network components
- Work with the engineering team to implement new products and solutions.
- Planning, coordinating and upgrading components of the storage products with software, hardware and code upgrades.
- Understanding of infrastructure resilience and disaster recovery
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Desire to learn new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Python or other scripting languages
- Familiar with Hypervisor and operating systems
- Experience with other storage products from Dell, Hitachi and NetApp, not mandatory.
