The Guardant Health screening portfolio, including the Shield™ test, aims to address the needs of individuals eligible for cancer screening.Job DescriptionAbout the role: Responsible for the collaborative design, development, and delivery of processes, programs, and tools in support of talent management strategies. This role reports to and partners closely with the VP of Organizational Effectiveness, who is the strategic leader and designer for Guardant performance processes and leader capability. Unlike the VP, whose focus is on strategic oversight and design, this role is more operational, concentrating on the everyday tasks that ensure smooth execution of performance processes. This role will focus on the day-to-day execution and performance processes by answering employee and leader questions, supporting people business partner capability, carrying out communications with quality, spending time mining insights from data analysis, and carrying out associated project management.  The role encompasses the complete lifecycle of performance initiatives and program management, from conceptualization to delivery and evaluation. This includes designing and implementing processes for setting goals, developing talent pipelines, planning career mobility, conducting talent reviews, and coordinating cross-functional activities at year-end. The objective is to ensure that these initiatives are executed effectively, aligning with the company's talent management strategies and supporting overall organizational effectiveness. At Guardant, here is what you would do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):  Program Leadership in Development and Implementation: Leads the end-to-end development, communication, and implementation of practical performance management solutions. Develops processes and systems to support talent identification, assessment, development, and performance.  Change management: Manages talent program change management. Leverages the expertise of internal and external relationships to anticipate risks, build buy-in, and manage change quickly. Develop a unique development strategy for multiple employee populations, including (but not limited to) individual contributors and managers. Strategic Planning: Creates clear program plans, timelines, stakeholder maps, communications plans, and enablement of partners/vendors. Builds Support & Capability: Standardizes expectations for performance management by creating, documenting, validating, and calibrating processes to meet the challenges of current business plans and environment. Delivers on our strategy through a blend of workshops, online seminars, digital learning, performance support tools, assessments, and other approaches and resources.  Technology Liaison: Acts as the technology liaison for the Operations team when it comes to Performance Management and Goal Setting. Stays apprised of new capabilities in Workday influences changes in Workday and drives implementation of technology changes in Workday. Research Best Practices: Researches trends in performance management and recommends, designs, and implements creative programs that develop employees and drive performance. Data Analysis and Reporting: Tracks, analyzes, and provides reports to measure the effectiveness of performance and talent strategies. Links measurement tools to strategic objectives and uses them to assess progress against goals. Runs experiments, tests, and pilots solutions collects and reports data, and recommends ideal interventions to enhance the performance management cycle. Measures outcomes of program delivery for impact and scale. Implement and report on progress toward established key performance indicators. QualificationsHere is what you’ll bring to the table (qualifications): 12 years of professional experience in Portfolio & Program Management  Experience with HR, Talent Processes, Learning and Development and/or Inclusion programming in an organization strongly preferred  Passion for people, inclusivity, and leading change Strong project/program management, with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex programs, including project design and implementation, stakeholder management, and budget management A strong influencer with a track record of implementing a strategy, developing strategic relationships, and influencing teams Highly effective communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals  Strong ability to collaborate with different parties, drive progress amidst divergent views, understand internal needs, and deliver on expectations Demonstrated experience presenting to senior leaders and gaining alignment among multiple stakeholders on enterprise-wide initiatives Consistent track record of using data to measure program effectiveness, identify insights, and make updates/improvements Proficient with Workday and MS Office Suite (i.e., PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Additional InformationHybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.For positions based in Palo Alto, CA or Redwood City, CA, the base salary range for this full-time position is $165,900 to $224,000. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
