What are the responsibilities and job description for the Light Duty Driver position at Guardian Fleet Services?
Light Duty tow truck drivers- $1500.00 sign on bonus
We are one of the largest towing, recovery, and special transport companies in the country.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED (preferred),
- Relevant trade school - Towing, recovery or transport accreditation
- At least two (2) years of relative commercial driving experience
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools
Essential Duties:
- Reliable, strong customer service and professional demeanor
- Ability to drive and perform duties via interstate for towing, recovery, and/or transport
- Ability to communicate and work closely with Dispatch
- Ability to perform vehicle inspection sheet daily, identifying any mechanical issues
- Ability to follow all safety requirements and DOT rules and regulations
- Report all mechanical issues with regard to trucks and trailers at the time of discovery.
- Ability to work with software and computer programs i.e. Samsara, GPS, and Towbook
- Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
Job requires lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing. significant physical strength and stamina. Ability to lift and pull at least 50 lbs. good hearing and vision required.
