Position Overview
The focus of the position is editing and formatting our Policy Document for Legal Compliance in Home Healthcare. The position requires good technology skills to correctly format and neaten the large document. Also, the ability to insert images and create a positive aesthetic is needed. Knowledge of compliance is NOT necessary.
The position will also bring other potential creative opportunities such as designing a company newsletter.
Job training will be given, as needed.
This is a temp position but with the potential to become permanent.
The Policy Document Editor will report to our Compliance Director.
Responsibilities:
- Format and neaten the policy document
- Insert relevant graphs and images
- Create a positive visual aesthetic
- Ensure that all tables of content are correct and that clickable links transfer to the applicable content
- Ensure that clickable links to external web sites work as they should
- Ensure page numbering is correct
- Ensure all text is grammatically correct and that there are no typos or other errors
- Support and protect the Guardian Healthcare and Family Caregivers brand by ensuring positive and relevant messaging.
- Interface with various departments in gathering communications materials.
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Skill Requirements:
- Minimum Education: Degree in Document Editing or related field
- Impeccable English reading and writing skills
- Eye for Detail
- Extensive knowledge of Office technology, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, (Microsoft Suite), Adobe, etc.
- No bilingual requirement
- No minimum experience requirement
- No healthcare experience required
- Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
Benefits
Hybrid Position: Some days in office, some days remote. Our office is nicely spaced out and relatively empty.
Temp Position for 6 months with opportunity to convert to permanent position
