What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN (Registered Nurse) - Med/Surg CRISIS position at Guardian HealthStaff?
Guardian HealthStaff is a family owned and nurse operated company. We are currently looking for nurses for 13 week contracts at a hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. There are openings on both days and nights, and there is a high likelihood of extension. Both local and travel candidates are encouraged to apply.

- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Primary Location: Wisconsin Rapids
- Shift Requirement : 12 hour days, 12 hour nights
- Weekend/Holiday: Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation
- Float Requirements: to alike units within skillset
- On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A
- Required Certifications: WI RN License, AHA BLS.
- Required Education: ADN or BSN
- Minimum Experience: 2 years
- Charting Experience Required: EPIC preferred
- Required Skillset: Med Surg Experience
- Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 40 bed medical/surgical/pediatric unit. Avg daily census 28. Patient ratios on days and pm max of 5 patients (avg 4), nights max of 7
- Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely, willingness to ask questions and collaborate with team and ancillary staff to ensure the best patient experience possible. Positive attitude and flexibility with constant changes which can occur throughout a shift.
- Scrub Colors: any professional-colored scrubs
- Covid Vaccine required- no exemptions will be offered
