Project Manager II
Overview
The Strategic Operational Support & Development candidate will have accountability to support project management on behalf of the Enterprise Operations and Service organization. The position requires a solid grasp of traditional project management skills with an emphasis on communications, relationship building, and customer experience. Identify, prioritize, and implement new projects and special projects to support organizational objectives. Responsible for establishing and monitoring key program metrics to gauge achieved performance and adjust as needed. As project owner, the candidate will conduct data analysis and provide summary details to key stakeholders.
The project manager will measure, analyze, and implement changes to meet or exceed performance and financial targets. The ideal candidate will be well organized and experienced with process, driving positive change, enjoys team collaboration and being hands on with data. This role will be focused on business development and growth.
The Project Manager will need to build relationships within all cross functional business partners across Guardian and our vendor partners. Forging these relationships will make it easier to stay on top of the customer experience on Guardian assets and end-to-end evaluation of programs.

- Relationship Management: The project manager must be client focused and is expected to manage relationships and expectations. Managing the expectations of and influencing several diverse stakeholders, through effective communication and well-tuned interpersonal skills, is critical to project success.
- Leadership: Throughout the project's life cycle, the project manager must also remain focused on driving the team and maintaining momentum. Acting as a change agent where necessary and motivating the project teams in support of meeting the project and business objectives are key competencies in this leadership role.
- Continuous Improvement: Determining which project management tools are best suited and effectively using those tools to increase the likelihood of project success is a key decision that project managers must continuously make when managing projects. Applying lessons learned from previous projects to current projects is another way to ensure continuous improveme

You Are:
- A proven project manager with at least 3 years of successful Project management experience
- You exhibit leadership skills and follows through on commitments; hold self accountable for taking the necessary
- Effective interpersonal skills who communicate constructively, honestly, and candidly; seeks and provides timely helpful feedback as appropriate
- Demonstrates understanding of client service metrics and their importance in achieving business goals; Define measurement criteria for success.
You Will:
- Deliver assigned projects on time.
- Establish & maintain detailed master project work plan.
- Ensure cost/benefit analysis is completed on all projects and tracked throughout the project with final reporting once the project is completed.
- Ensures that project approach deploys adequate quality assurance techniques in accordance with Guardian standards.
- Define resource needs based on detailed project schedules.
- Institute effective project related communication, including status reports, resource utilization, progress measurements and changes.
- Coordinate Sourcing and Legal engagement on projects involving a vendor.
You Have:
- a Bachelor's degree
- Project Management Certifications: CAPM or PMP Certification (a plus) & Lean Six Sigma Certification - Yellow, Green or Black Belt (a plus)
- Minimum of 3 years of formal project management experience
Location & Travel:
- This is a hybrid position with 2 days a week at our Bethlehem, PA location or Holmdel, NJ office and 3 days a week remote.

Salary Range
$55,570.00 - $92,610.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
