There is a new up and coming small brewery located in the heart of Atascadero. We are looking for a Master Brewer/Manager to add to our team! This position may also be open to a management position, which is why this is part time or full time depending. The pay will depend on experience and the compensation is listed at the bottom. Job Summary:
The Master Brewer is responsible for creating recipes, cleaning tanks, transferring beer, quality management, yeast management, and equipment maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to effectively manage time and demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Ability to multi-task while being detail and quality focused
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing,
- Ability to work both independently and in small work teams
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals pertaining to brewing and quality control as well as read and understand a variety of scientific instruments
- Ability to analyze and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Compensation:
Depending on the position offered (part time/full time Brewer Master or Brew Master plus Manager) the pay range will be as follows:
- Ranging from $20 - $30 an hour - or -
- $65-$70k salary
