JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Guest Services Manager, the Guest Services Supervisor oversees the Guest Services Agents and operations, including selling lift tickets, rentals, and season passes, booking lesson reservations, booking tee times, and monitoring of the switchboard; while ensuring overall excellent guest service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Under direction from the Guest Services Manager, assists in the overall management of the unit’s operations, including planning and developing daily operations, analyzing sales and labor; and ensuring compliance with established budget.
• Assists in recruiting, supervising, training, scheduling, reviewing, and directing the Guest Services Agents.
• Assists with the point of sale system to ensure accurate products, pricing, and flow of operations.
• Fosters a culture of professionalism, growth, and development for all members of the Guest Services Team.
• Represents the company in a professional and positive manner at all times. Maintains and enhances the company’s image when interacting with clients, guests, associates, and vendors.
• Responds to guest inquiries and resolves customer complaints.
• Maintains and ensures safe facility environment including standards for maintenance and upkeep of unit’s equipment, housekeeping, sanitation, cash control and flow of operations for guests.
• Handles high volumes of customer interactions while delivering exceptional service; internal & external.
• Assists and follows through with resolution of guest complaints, concerns, and suggestions.
• Performs daily sales and closing procedures.
• Is familiar with all unit services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to customers’ questions accurately.
• Maintains awareness of safety issues, and report them immediately to your manager.
• Performs other duties as directed.

SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

• High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Clerical skills including typing, filing, office machine operations, cash register operation, maintenance of records, and the ability to undertake multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Computer proficiency with the ability to utilize MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people; ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to learn and develop new skills; ability to problem solve.
• Ability to arrange and coordinate schedules for lesson reservations.
• Excellent interpersonal, administrative, telephone and other communications skills.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with arms and hands.
• Ability to stand for the entire work day.
• The employee will occasionally be required to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. occasionally.
• Reading and writing work-related documents in English.
• Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers in English.
• Constantly communicates and receives verbal communication with other employees in a fast-paced unit.
• Physical Presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.
• Moderate exposure to extreme cold, heat, working outdoors, mechanical hazards, and electrical hazards. Noise level is moderate.
• Work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons.

• Typical office equipment (computers, phone system, fax, copiers, scanners, among others).
• Reservations and POS systems.
