What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Clerk position at Guesthouse Inn?
We are looking for candidates who have passion for hospitality and love to create an amazing guest experience in the following available positions:
- Second Shift (3PM-11PM)
Part-time to full time hours based on hotel's occupancy needs. Hotel experience required. Must be a hard worker, quick learner and be great with people. Must have great customer service, punctual and reliable
Responsibilities and Duties
The front desk clerk is responsible for registering the guest into the hotel; assigning, balancing room allocations, managing methods of payment, corroborating transactions, assisting peers by providing information on all shift events. Understands and gets involved with the entire hotel operations. Agent finds time to ensure all rates are accurate, making guest reservations efficiently, multi-tasking guest requests; moreover, is focused in delivering Elite Customer Service while enforcing hotel and brand standards.
Qualifications and Skills
1) All hotel employees are required to work weekends and holidays.
2) Property system training preferred.
3) High School education or equivalent.
4) Must have at least 1 year of hotel front desk experience. Will verify references
