Our Franklin facility also includes a unique Behavioral Health unit to serve the mental health needs of our area's population. Our Behavioral Health Unit is divided between 20 adult psychiatric units for those between the age of 18 and 55, and a 13-bed geriatric unit for our population over the age of 55. Maria Parham Franklin also offers an array of outpatient testing and diagnostics. With 205 licensed beds, Maria Parham Health is equipped for every healthcare need one can encounter.
Job Summary:
The Nursing Director for Emergency Services Henderson is the first line manager. designated for this specific nursing area, its patient population, and assigned staff.
The Nursing Director has 24-hour responsibility for the unit’s activity.
The Nursing Director plans, coordinates, and directs the fiscal, personnel, and patient care activities to ensure the standards of care and standards of practice are met as appropriate for the patient care needs and the age of the patient in as cost-effective a manner as possible.
The Nursing Director is responsible for the integration of the nursing area (s) into the overall functioning of the organization.
This position requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must Haves:
Bachelor’s degree or Associate Degree in Nursing with equivalent experience.
Current North Carolina Registered Nurse License or compact state.
Basic Life Support (BLS).
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required within six (6) months of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required within six (6) months of hire.
One (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting.
IVC and behavioral health experience.
Compensation:
Base compensation will be commensurate with the experience and skill set of the candidate.
Bonus with a 3-year commitment.
