Guidance Personal Care (GPC) is a trusted personal care service with trained Personal Care Assistants (PCA), Direct Support Worker (DSW) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA). We tailor plans specific to our recipient’s needs by providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL). It is our vow to provide the best quality of care services to our recipients.

Responsibilities of Direct Support Worker (DSW)

Provides personal care of other services and supports to persons with disabilities or to the elderly to enhance their well-being, and who is involved in face-to-face direct contact with the person.

Assist with daily living skills like cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping etc., light housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, sleep/bedroom area, keep member safe from health hazards, record documentation, and report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour
