The Role
Educate and consult new and existing small business clients on services that will support the growth of their business operations long term. By being the expert on Guidant Payroll, Accounting, Tax and other business services, offer solutions that will save small business owners time and money. This includes, pitching, offering demonstrations, securing contracts and supporting the onboarding of new services. Works with multiple departments to build a pipeline of clients by training and promoting service offerings. In addition, act as a liaison between client and service delivery teams.
What You'll be doing
- Manage a console of prospects/clients to call, consult and close sales to a monthly goal
- Follow up on a pipeline of prospects/clients to understand needs and obstacles to generate next steps
- Craft marketing campaigns to optimize sales and service communication
- Participate or lead trainings to ensure subject matter expertise and understanding
- Support business development efforts that generate new lead channels
- Participate in regularly scheduled meetings providing updates on leads, opportunities, and sales strategies
- Interact with weekly, monthly and/or quarterly reports analyzing successes and opportunities
- Participate in ongoing training and education, provided by Guidant, to improve sales skills.
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- 2-3 years’ experience working in a relationship-based sales working with repeat clients
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, finance or related major preferred or equivalent experience
- Strong command of all Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in tele-sales environment.
- Multi-tasker who thrives in fast-paced role
- Skilled communicator who knows how to read their audience
- Highly organized and detail orientated
- Team player
- Ability to work in a remote environment where you can be a self-directed, independent worker

- Complete continuing education based upon current certifications
For this position there are minimum work from home requirements that must be met in order to perform the essential functions in a remote work from home (WFH) environment. These include 1) a space to work out of (i.e., home office) and 2) High speed internet.
