The Cloud Team Leads role is to oversee and report on the administration and support Grant Solutions Cloud Infrastructure Environment that requires a strong technical background and the ability to support the team through technical and strategic initiatives. The position includes participation in the design, development, installation, proactive monitoring, optimization, maintenance and support of all cloud infrastructure, including components in the areas of network, host compute, storage, and backup and recovery systems.
What You Will Do *:
- Supervising a team operating Amazon AWS resources and native services.
- Lead a team through integration of native cloud services into an information system.
- Manage migration of applications and services from legacy on-prem to cloud resources.
- Work with Architecture, Development and Security teams on new cloud environments and improvements to existing cloud environments.
- Understanding of cloud networking concepts.
- Lead System administration and configuration management of Linux and Windows application systems using puppet, and other automation tools.
- Manage user training and system documentation and encourage knowledge sharing work environment.
- Engineer solutions to enhance system stability, availability, and observability.
- Support high-volume applications providing 24/7/365 support.
- Must be able to participate on an on-call rotation and be available for night, weekend, and emergency calls.
- Experienced in driving and delivering on multiple short- and long-term initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrated the ability to provide detailed reports and status updates to assess risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
- Ability to supervise teams who are responsible for supporting applications on Linux and windows systems.
- Experienced and focused on system availability, resiliency, and stability.
What You Will Need *:
- Bachelors or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of progressive Information technology experience.
- Must have experience in leading an IT Development and/or Operations teams.
- Must have working knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, management and Monitoring platforms.
- Knowledge of middleware such as SSL certificates, public CA's and cloud services that provide private and public CA services.
- Experience using Jira or another issue management/tracking tool and Strong understanding of Agile.
- Must have ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
What Would Be Nice To Have *:
- Application Development experience is preferred.
- System and Network administration experience is preferred.
- AWS experience preferred.
The annual salary range for this position is $111,400.00-$167,200.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
