What You Will Do :
Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity in our National Security Segment to provide requirements management and business analysis support. The position sits within a Guidehouse-led Program Management Office (PMO), where our consulting professionals and specialists help our clients identify, evaluate, and solve some of their most complex challenges, assisting them in achieving their strategic goals and objectives to fulfill their mission and comply with Federal laws and regulations. In this role, the Business Analyst will:

Evaluate new project ideas and proposals and provide feedback

Work with client’s customers and stakeholders to understand and visually map business processes

Collaborate with the client’s customers and business sponsors to develop and document functional requirements

Maintain a roadmap to ensure client and team are informed about the status and timing of business analyst support efforts
-
Provide inputs to senior leadership discussions and strategy sessions as needed
-
Coordinate with the PMO team, IT Project Managers, and other workstreams as needed to develop required project artifacts. May include project plans, business cases, analyses of alternatives, and build vs. buy analyses.

Validate requirement entry into the technical teams’ backlog and workflow management tool

Clarify customer and stakeholder intention, and validate acceptance criteria

Identify and recommend for process improvements; support implementation in collaboration with the PMO team
What You Will Need :
-
Ability to obtain and maintain a federal SECRET security clearance
-
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience
-
FOUR (4) or more years' relevant experience
What Would Be Nice To Have :
-
FIVE (5) or more years' relevant experience with requirements development and management in an agile IT organization
-
Experience working with business owners, product owners, users, and other stakeholders to interpret and convey their business functions and processes, business requirements, priorities, objectives, and constraints
-
Experience developing requirements-related content and documentation, including inputs to project plans, workflow maps, and analyses of alternatives
-
Ability to participate in and lead client-facing discussions and meetings across workstreams, including technical resources, user representatives, and project managers
-
Ability to lead a workstream, promote adherence to approved processes and best practice, and recommend process improvement opportunities
-
Familiarity with agile methodologies; scaled agile framework (SAFe) experience a plus
-
Experience developing and reviewing business requirements and user stories
-
Experience developing and reviewing business cases
-
Experience leading business analysis or requirement management activities, or a similar effort
-
Experience developing visual workflows and business process maps
-
Experience facilitating discussions with diverse groups of stakeholders to obtain actionable insights
-
Ability to view problems from multiple angles and apply a variety of solutions to solve them.

Experience working with government agencies
-
Relevant certifications, including agile or SAFe certifications
The annual salary range for this position is $74,900.00-$149,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
