Responsibilities
Guidehouse is seeking to add talented professionals to our growing Public Sector practice! These professionals will be serving our Federal clients with mission-specific projects that allow for direct client experiences as well as the opportunity to support, own, and drive business development to allow for career progression and future challenging (and rewarding) project assignments. Key Responsibilites:
- Work with the team to run information gathering session with clients regarding client structure, process, technology, operations, and / or culture
- Develop work products that clearly synthesize informaton into recommendations for client improvements
- Participate in client meetings, clearly synthesize meeting minutes, and disseminate them to team members and clients
- Work with a team to develop solutions to solve process and policy challenges for a government client
- Develop business process improvements to existing programs
- Provide change management recommendations to clients
- Support team management with business development activities, including, but not limited to, proposal writing and client research
- Be adaptable to changing client requirements and asks and be able to work closely with project leadership to solve challenges
- Demonstrate an ability to learn new skills, challenge yourself, and increase your capabilities and competencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
- 1-5 years of experience in internal / external client facing management consulting, strategy, or operations position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet requirements and be awarded a Public Trust
- No sponsorship available for this position
Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consulting (preferably Federal)
- Certification(s) (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Lean Six Sigma, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Prosci Change Management Certification)
- Interest in business development, client growth, and investing time and energy into a growing business
Additional Requirements
- The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
