What You Will Do *:
Our Data and Analytics Consultants on the Veterans Affairs team help clients maximize the value of their data and automate business processes. This high performing team works with clients to implement the full spectrum of data analytics and data science, from data querying and data wrangling, to data visualization and dashboarding, to predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence as well as robotic process automation (RPA). Our services enable our clients to define their information strategy, enable mission critical insights and data-driven decision making, reduce cost and complexity, increase trust, and improve operational effectiveness.
Our consultants focus on client services, while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
What You Will Need *:
- 2 years of professional work experience
- Prior consulting experience
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and familiarity with one or more of the following analytical programming languages: R, Python, SQL, PySpark, DAX, or MDX
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience working with teams
What Would Be Nice To Have *:
- Knowledge of the Veterans Affairs and/or Veterans Health Administration environment
- Current PIV and epas form to access common VA data systems
- Regular interaction with VA data systems (e.g., CDW, VA Common Operating Platform, AMCS, PPMS, CCRS, eCAMS, VSSC)
- Understanding of how to locate data documentation in the VA environment through common tools (VIREC, VHA RAMP, VA Sharepoint)
- Advanced proficiency in one or more of the following analytical programming languages: R, Python, SQL, PySpark, DAX, MDX
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience working with teams
- Willingness to contribute to business development including RFP/RFQ responses, developing white papers/concept papers, and building and demonstrating prototype solutions to customers
The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00-$108,100.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
