What You Will Do *:
As part of Guidehouse's Experience Transformation practice, Digital Solutions Managers are instrumental in facilitating and leading the delivery of digital projects and products for our commercial and public sector clients. They also advise our clients on project and product management to creating/implementing digital strategies to agile / scrum coaching. Managers will lead or participate in client engagements as part of the design, development, and implementation of digital and innovation strategies. Depending on the specific project and client need, Digital Solutions Managers may be asked to work in a diverse set of focus areas, including change management, process improvement, requirements management, and/or project or program management. They are also expected to provide strategic consultative support to client engagements, including business analysis, communication planning, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, process improvement, and performance management to deliver top-notch products. This person will help build a collaborative and trusting environment where problems can be raised with a solutions-oriented focus. They will help lead and grow the Scaled Agile and Digital Transformation practice Guidehouse, and therefore must have demonstrated professional maturity and an everlasting urge to learn and grow. Finally, the Digital Solutions Manager must have a strong ability in building relationships with clients and account teams, as you will be expected to grow accounts and help find new opportunities by responding to client inquiries (RFPs / RFQs / RFIs).

Responsibilities
- Lead or Support Digital Solutions Workstreams (50%)
- Define, lead, and manage workstreams as part of a larger engagement
- Mentor and coach junior staff from both a project and Guidehouse perspective
- Identify opportunities for additional client value through process improvements, streamlining, and project management
- Identify opportunities for future account growth through gap analyses and client relationships
- Perform hands-on reviews to ensure quality client deliverables
- Work with client and internal Guidehouse teams to elicit and define clear solution requirements
- Coordinate with teams to develop work products from start to finish based on client requirements
- Assist in tracking project budgets, performance metrics, etc. to ensure efficient client delivery
- Support Client Engagement & Consulting Activities (30%)
- Provide consultative input and guidance by learning about client specific subject matter and applying it to work
- Participate in requirements elicitation and elaboration, providing a management and solutions strategy point of view and recommendations
- Develop impactful digital products that support client business needs
- Develop trusted relationships with clients
- Develop communications for internal and external client stakeholders
- Provide weekly status updates on project progress to project manager and/or client
- Support team and firm growth (20%)
- Support business development activities, including creating marketing collateral, writing, and reviewing proposals, and participating in sales meetings as subject matter experts (SME)
- Write thought leadership, including white papers and research briefs on a variety of topics
- Present solutions to both internal and external stakeholders to build individual network and increase opportunities to grow business by expanding capabilities for specific practice areas

- Lead with quality, including creating high quality work products and deliverables

What You Will Need *:
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain a minimum of Secret security clearance
- Ability to travel up to 25%, if required as part of client engagement
- Bachelor's degree (4yr college degree)
- 6 years of experience working with agile teams and/or technical project management
- Manage a profitable business and portfolio of digital projects, and develop new solutions to take to market
- Good communication skills and experience leading project teams and workstreams
- Knowledge of experience design concepts, including journey mapping, interviewing, and digital design
- Experience developing presentations, managing project plans, conducting research, and making recommendations for process improvement
- Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks
- Familiarity with current software development technologies, standards, and leading practices.
- Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Background / primary professional focus in one or more:
- Agile Coaching / Implementing Agile in teams and organizations
- Technology development
- UX/CX/Human Centered design principles and methodologies
- Content Management Systems (Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, etc.)
- Professional Skills: Demonstrated critical thinking, attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity and unstructured situations, and strong communication skills
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent
- The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
- Compensation may vary based on education, skills, experience and location. Selected candidate must be local and able to work from one of the following offices: Tysons, VA (HQ); Washington DC as needed. Client meetings may be required in-person.
- This is an exempt level role that may require more than 40 hours of work per week.
- Selected Candidate must be able to work Eastern Standard Hours.
