Responsibilities

Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity in our National Security Segment to lead a team responsible for performing an assessment of a client’s operations and making recommendations for how to optimize processes, systems, tools, and governance. The candidate will be responsible for directly engaging with customers, analyzing data and information, synthesizing information and formulating creative solutions to enhance the way the client’s organization operates. The study involves examination of the client’s IT systems and environment, so some familiarity and comfort level with IT is necessary. The candidate should have experience and understanding of best practice IT frameworks and methodologies such as Agile, ITIL, DevSecOps, and should understand how to optimize IT governance models.

 

Qualifications

The following qualifications are REQUIRED to be considered for this role:

 

• U.S. GOVERNMENT Secret Clearance (interim or active)
• Bachelor’s Degree

• 3 years of relevant experience
• U.S. Citizenship

 

The following experience/education/skills are  PREFERRED to be considered for this role:

 

• Experience with or knowledge of how IT organizations operate
• Experience with analyzing processes, systems, structures, and strategies, and making recommendations for improvement
• Experience directly engaging with and briefing Federal government clients
• Experience with IT methodologies and frameworks such as Agile, ITIL, DevSecOps
• Project Management Professional, Agile Certified Practitioner or similar certifications a plus
• Experience with and understanding of enterprise architecture
• Experience meeting with clients of varying levels to gather, document, prioritize, and analyze system specifications and requirements, working closely with technical team members in a fast paced environment

• Demonstrated ability to use effective facilitation skills and techniques to elicit requirements from a diverse range of stakeholders
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to offer solutions and articulate the business impact to clients in a clear and concise manner
