What You Will Do :
The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions to clients' problems. This person will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs. They are responsible for creating technical specifications, evaluating third-party software and hardware, and ensuring that solutions meet client expectations. Solutions Architects also play a key role in the development of new products and services. The Solutions Architect will collaborate as a member of a Digital Transformation team.

Responsibilities:

Participate in requirements elicitation and elaboration, providing a management and solutions strategy point of view and recommendations

Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and requirements

Create technical specifications for solutions
-
Develop and implement solutions that meet and maintain client expectations

Play a key role in the development of new products and services
-
Provide technical guidance and support to clients and team members
-
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
-
Conduct training and workshops for clients and team members
-
Work with client and internal Guidehouse teams to elicit and define clear solution requirements

Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Develop trusted relationships with clients
What You Will Need :
-
The ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
-
A BS degree with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience. Strong preference for an advanced degree.
-
Technical expertise: A deep understanding of technology and technical systems. They need to be proficient in designing and developing complex technical solutions.

Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills to identify business problems and analyze information to develop effective solutions.

Communication skills: Able to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical individuals. They must be able to articulate technical concepts in a way that is easily understood by stakeholders.

Problem-solving skills: Able to solve complex business and technical problems. They must be able to develop creative solutions that meet the needs of the business.

Leadership skills: Ability to coach a small team technical professionals to develop and implement solutions.

Strategic thinking: Able to think strategically about technology solutions.

Project management skills: Project management skills to ensure that technical projects are completed to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

Collaboration skills: Able to collaborate with stakeholders, technical professionals, and other team members to develop effective solutions. They must be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience working with the Department of Defense, specifically the Army

Familiarity with current DOD and Army Data and the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)

Experience with Army PEO-EIS enterprise programs. These include but are not limited to any combination of the following programs:

Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army)

Advanced Analytics Tool (ADVANA)

Logistics Modernization Program (LMP)

General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)

Army Vantage

Understanding of data mesh, data warehouse, and/or data lake concepts

Experience with strong data management and data governance

Experience with data dictionaries and other supporting documentation
Education/Certifications Preferred:

MS degree in science, technology, engineering, or math

AWS Certified Solution Architect

The Open Group TOGAF 9 Certification

Project Management Professional (PMP)
The annual salary range for this position is $78,600.00-$157,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
