The Business System Rating Analyst bridges the pricing and underwriting units to facilitate the capture and compilation of key rating components.  This includes rating variables and industry information.   

As the Business System Rating Analyst you will be responsible for the following:

  • Analyze industry updates for revisions pertaining to factors for PolicyCenter updates
  • Implement updates to PolicyCenter ratebooks with industry and proprietary rating variables
  • Peer review and test rating variable updates for accuracy prior to implementation
  • Maintains ratebook requirements with all revisions
  • Documents thoroughly and concisely, simple to complex business processes and procedures
  • Maintains commentary in JIRA as needed for rate changes, rating defect, and rating enhancements
  • Other related duties as assigned
