SUMMARY STATEMENT
This position exists within GuideWell Source (GWS) to support and maintain the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 registered Quality Management Systems (QMS) by performing professional level audits of the QMS and providing consultative support to the company and its subsidiaries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Management System Audits (40%)

* Plan and conduct advanced ISO 9001:2015 QMS audits and evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of the QMS in accordance with prescribed standards and requirements.
* Design and execute appropriate audit procedures and ensure audit documentation supports the procedures performed and related audit conclusions.
* Evaluate business processes to assess the degree of conformance with ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements.
* Develop and communicate to management comprehensive recommendations based on audit conclusions to address or eliminate any identified non-conformances.
* Prepare and submit audit reports to management detailing results and recommendations, and gain concurrence for recommended process improvements.
* Provide support and expert analysis of risk assessment criteria and data supporting the development of annual risk based ISO 9001:2015 QMS audit plan.
* Complete required continued professional education or training to maintain professional certifications and subject area expertise.

Corrective Action Support/Consultation (30%)

* Maintain and monitor inventory of quality related issues and prepare reports addressing the status of open and pending issues as needed.
* Provide advisory input to management regarding development or implementation of corrective actions to address identified and/or potential issues.
* Supply consultative support to management on root cause analysis to facilitate development of effective corrective actions.
* Perform post-closure validations by reviewing supporting evidence to ensure effective closure and mitigation of issues.

External Audit Support (15%)

* Collaborate, monitor, and provide oversight for external audit engagements. Engage manager on an as-needed basis.
* Coordinate audit logistics and scheduling across multiple areas, compile and submit requested pre-audit documentation to external auditor.
* Prepare departments for external reviews by providing training and conducting mock audits as needed to ensure review readiness.
* In conjunction with management, provide research, analysis, and relevant supporting detail to address potential non-conformances or issues.
* Develop and maintain productive professional relationships with external reviewer(s).

QMS Support and Customer Collaboration (15%)

* Supply advisory input as required on QMS policies, procedures, issues, or concerns.
* Provide documentation, reports, or analysis to support the GWS Quality Council and senior leadership as required.
* Respond to inquiries and collaborate with management to address (non-audit) QMS issues or revisions.
* Execute and monitor status against department metrics or service level agreements.
* Manage control and maintenance of area procedures, forms, templates, flowcharts, website content, etc. as required.
* Provide consultative guidance for company level policies and procedures as required.
* Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with management, customers, and other external parties.

Performs other duties as the supervisor may, from time to time, deem necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 5 years related work experience in project management, QMS auditing, root cause analysis, and process improvement.
* Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications
* Knowledge of and experience with the concepts, practices and procedures associated with process improvement methodologies
* Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to interact successfully with people at all levels in the organization
* Demonstrated support for corrective action and/or continuous improvement activities
* Strong presentation skills with solid communication capabilities, both oral and written
* ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., Business Administration, Quality Systems Management, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Management)
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
* International Organization for Standardization (ISO) experience
* Green Belt or higher Six Sigma certification
* ISO Lead Auditor of Quality Management Systems


The Federal Government and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) may require applicants to have lived in the United States for a minimum of three (3) years out of the last five (5) years to be employed with the Company. These years of residence do not have to be consecutive.
