Job Summary
The Communications Specialist role is responsible for developing messaging and content that supports the overall communications strategy of WebTPA. The Communications Specialist is responsible for drafting dynamic copy for email, web, and print channels to promote WebTPA to various audiences including existing clients, brokers, consultants, prospects and within WebTPA to help support employee communications and engagement activities. This position helps identify and achieve communication objectives, crafting high-impact messages that serve target audiences.

The Communications Specialist is responsible for drafting dynamic copy for email, web, and print channels to promote WebTPA to various audiences including existing clients, brokers, consultants, prospects and within WebTPA to help support employee communications and engagement activities. This position helps identify and achieve communication objectives, crafting high-impact messages that serve target audiences.
Essential Functions
- The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.
- Manage the social media calendar in relation to culture/company events. Media includes imagery, video, flyer, etc.
- Evaluate message and select, document and publish relevant videos and photography of company culture events virtually and in person
- Responsible for monitoring all social media where WebTPA is mentioned (employees’ social media and public comments on WebTPA) and escalating issues to leadership that may require a response. (35%)
- Manage Intranet content and assisting department managers with crafting their content
- With direction from Marketing and HR, create and publish timely company information to Intranet
- Monitor, measure and analyze usage of Intranet to help improve and refine use of Intranet for internal communications
(20%) - Collaborate with leadership team on key promotional activities such as Best places to work awards, promoting surveys/feedback loop, and promoting culture building activities
- Provide design and print management of employee-focused collateral such as onboarding booklet, weekly slideshow, banners, etc.
- Participate as needed in the management of anniversary parties – both collateral and gifts and management of gift store
- Contribute content ideas for WebTPA podcast, set up interview and manage the distribution of the podcast to organization (20%)
- Responsible for maintaining corporate materials such as business cards, letterhead, email signature
- In conjunction with Account Management, create client-facing updates and news articles to post on social media, share via email and/or post on the website
- Work as part of a team with the Marketing team (Marketing Specialists, Marketing Associates, and/or Interns) to ensure key high-profile projects are completed timely and successfully
- Responsible for client-facing initiatives including marketing collateral, splash screens, flyers, open enrollment materials

3 years related work experience. Experience Details: Minimum 3 years experience working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in Marketing, Web/Social media, or Communications role.
