We are now hiring for Full-Time (6am - 2pm) Day Shift and (2pm - 10pm) Evening Shift - Direct Support Professional positions in our NE Phoenix group home for females – located near N Tatum Blvd and E Bell Rd, Phoenix 85032.

All our members are at minimum, a 1 to 1 with their staff. To be considered for ANY of the following positions, candidates MUST HAVE: an AZ Clean Driver’s License and be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card if hired. Most positions require applicants to already have the following certificates to start, with limited entry level openings for those that do not have all of the following: First Aid, CPR, Article 9.

Benefits:

  • Employee Housing - Eligible upon a passing Appraisal, company owned apartments can be rented for reduced amount, deducted from your pay bi-monthly, no down payment, no application fees, based on availability.
  • Starting pay $16.50/hr - for those that have valid AZ Driver's License with clean MVR for 36mo who are able to drive the Group Home minivan's.
  • Pay will increase to $17.00/hr - with a passing appraisal after 90 days. All non-driver's start at $16/hr and increase to $16.50 with passing appraisal after 90 days.
  • Bi-Monthly Pay periods - paid out on the 16th and last day of each month. If on holiday or weekend, you are paid the business day prior.
  • Medical/Vision/Dental - available to Full Time Employees after 2nd full month of employment
  • Earned Paid Sick Time, up to 40hrs per year.
  • Referral bonus program - $350, first $50 after the referred employee works 2 shifts, the remaining $300 paid out in $100 installments following every 30 days they remain employed, for following 3 months.
  • Schedules - We do not offer any Mon-Fri only schedules. Schedules are published using SLING, which is an App employees download on their phones. Allows for easy viewing of schedules, and to pick up extra shifts.

Required Qualifications for a Direct Support Professional:

  • Must be able to pass a level 1 fingerprint clearance background check.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Driving is required for most group home positions.
  • Previous experience within the group home setting, day program, or with those individuals that have developmental disabilities is required.
  • To be considered fully certified requires; Article 9, Prevention and Support, First Aid/CPR and Neglect and Abuse Certifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism or other special needs
  • Depending on the client and job site, you may be assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for those in our care
  • Promote and respect the rights of those residing in the group home
  • Assist with meal preparation, and feeding if necessary
