Summary:
The Loan Reviewer is responsible for loan quality review of consumer and commercial post-closing documents, Core set ups, daily draws and collateral modules. Post review write up of exceptions, tracking and reporting of such exceptions, review or documents submitted to clear such exceptions and clearance of exceptions.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Loan Quality Review (Post-Closing): Daily review of Consumer and Commercial loan documentation and Core set ups. Reviews all file documentation for loan files, including title commitments and policies, UCC’s, letters of credit, insurance policies, liens (collateral perfection), releases, commercial entity constituent (ownership/resolution) documents, Loan-to-value, Committee/Board approvals and other documents relating to the loan. Identifies missing/incorrect documentation in loan files.
- Exceptions: Post review write up of exceptions, tracking, weekly and monthly reporting of such exceptions, review of documents submitted to clear such exceptions, uploading of those documents and clearance of exceptions.
- Identifies and reports exceptions for unapproved deviations from Bank consumer/commercial loan policy guidelines
- Identifies and reports loan document exceptions for errors or non-compliance of relevant banking laws and regulations such as, but not limited to, HMDA, TRID, Commercial, Real Estate.
- Review daily draws.
- Review new collateral modules.
- Review of loan paid out report to remove any outstanding exceptions at loan pay out.
- Check Workflow Queue daily for any requests for outstanding financial letters, and mailing.
- Daily loan count report to management.
- Submission of delinquent reports to lenders. And mail out of delinquent letters.
- Review and uploading HMDA data on a quarterly basis.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent / College Degree preferred.
- Banking and/or legal experience dealing with loans preferred.
- An understanding of relevant banking laws and regulations is preferred.
- Familiarity with LoanVantage, LaserPro, GSS, CORE banking software programs a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with others in a professional manner.
- Detail oriented, with analytical skills necessary for preparation and accurate review of documents.
- Ability to understand and review legal loan documents.
- Ability to understand and review DMV and Wildlife and Fisheries Documents.
- Excellent computer skills, along with the ability to adapt to new programs.
- Strong work ethic, along with high level of integrity and understanding of the need for confidentiality.
