Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Cleans interiors of storage tanks, industrial processing tanks, other vessels to remove emulsion and incrustations, using shovels, squeegees, brooms, scrapers, hoses, water, and solvents
Drains tank, connects hose to water or steam lines, and sprays walls, roof, and bottom of tank to flush residue, such as oil, acid, grease, and sludge through tank openings
Scrapes and scrubs walls, using detergents, solvents, scrapers, and brushes to remove incrustations, scale, or deposits of coke or catalyst.
Sweeps up debris and shovels sludge into buckets or wheelbarrows or down chutes.
Removes chemical residues and other liquids from tank bottoms with squeegees or pump and suction hoses.
Dries tanks with wood shavings or portable air-drying equipment.
Tests gas content of tanks.
Adds specified chemicals to industrial tanks to maintain and replenish tank processing solutions.
Performs other duties and services to ensure successful projects are delivered and clients are satisfied.
Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
Required Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED; or certification from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and/or six months to two years experience in tank cleaning environment.
Working Conditions:
Field work in Shop, Shipyard or Offshore or on Field Location as required
Capable of working at heights.
Regular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid and / or rainy weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.

N/A
Special Skills:
Ability to work under deadlines and schedule pressures.
Able to read and understand all safety precautions and environmental requirements.
Able to pass a fit test for respirator equipment.
