Truss Machinery Maintenance

Truss Machinery Maintenance Job Summary: The position works under the direction of Truss Plant Manager to keep the truss production equipment operating in the proper manner.  This role will help with preventative maintenance on the machinery and tools as well.    Responsibilities: Always act with a high degree of customer service and teamwork, being respectful of the needs of cutting, production and the building teams Responsible for preventative maintenance of production machinery, as well as addressing mechanical issues as they arise in the plant Work with Plant Manager and location management to keep machinery operating according to proper specification and safe manner Adhere to company’s safety policies and procedures at all times, being mindful of proper PPE and any applicable Lockout/Tagout procedures. **All new hires must complete pre-employment background check and drug test** Skills Needed: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), as well as mechanical experience. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Be able to use hand tools and equipment safely, without causing injury to yourself or others Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regularly required to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and hear, Often required to climb or balance. Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally required to lift up to 100lbs. Regularly required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus). Salary : $36,900 - $46,700
