Job Summary:
Step into the role of Building Automation Control Technician and spearhead the optimization of HVAC control systems in critical infrastructure environments. This position is tailored for professionals dedicated to enhancing system functionality and energy efficiency through innovative automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
Implement, oversee, and fine-tune building automation controls for HVAC systems, ensuring they meet the operational standards required for commercial and institutional buildings. Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and rectify any issues with automation controls, ensuring systems run at peak efficiency. Collaborate with facility management teams to develop strategies that enhance system performance, focusing on sustainability and cost-effectiveness. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all control modifications, system performance issues, and resolutions to ensure compliance with industry standards. Lead and support the integration of new technology and system upgrades, ensuring seamless adoption and minimal disruption to existing operations.
Qualifications:
Strong background in building automation systems, especially in environments such as data centers, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings. Familiarity with leading control systems. Proficient in managing comprehensive HVAC systems, particularly focusing on automation and control aspects. Consistent track record indicating a stable and progressive career in technical roles. Technical certification in HVAC systems, building automation, or a similar field preferred. Robust problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to diagnostics and repairs.
Preferred Skills:
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and client liaison. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately interpret technical plans and specifications.
Compensation: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
