Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-ins, reach-ins, coolers, and ice machines.
- Service and repair HVAC units such as package units, splits, and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with rack systems to prevent downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are handled properly.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of five years in refrigeration service and repair.
- Skills: Knowledge of market refrigeration systems and HVAC technology.
- Requirements: Semi-local to the Astoria area with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Attributes: Strong diagnostic abilities, effective communication skills, and a focus on customer service.
