Work is typically in an office environment or out on the casino floor. Work areas may be warm, cold, or noisy. Tasks may be required to perform from a sitting or non-sitting position in a confined area. Team Members may be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp.

In This Role
- Responsible for always practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino's "Unsurpassed Service Standards."
- Maintain a high level of personal integrity on and off duty.
- Practice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized, positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Interact with Guests in a friendly and courteous manner and handle all Guest opportunities.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both written and verbally with Guests, Team Members, and Management.
- Maintain accurate Team Member records of company issued uniforms including quantity, sizes and descriptions of each item issued.
- Track any and all damaged uniforms that will be destroyed or scrapped.
- Demonstrated ability to logically and independently plan, organize and complete work; initiate; well-developed interpersonal skills; ability to set and achieve high standards of performance.
- Work closely with HR and Recruiters to coordinate and conduct Team Member uniform fittings for both front and back of the house.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
- Construct, alter, repair and otherwise maintain GLC uniforms as needed.
- Maintain excellent grooming and uniform standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two years sewing and/or Uniform Room experience preferred.
- Must possess at least intermediate knowledge and application of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Must be able to learn other software applications and apply them to the position as needed.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Proven ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints.
- Understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Proven ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning uniform related issues; learn specific job duties and complete detailed work assignments; maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques.
- Proven experience and knowledge of construction, tailoring, patterning, and garment reconstructing.
- Possess knowledge of all sewing machines, including but not limited to the serger and blind hemmer.
- Have basic math skills and knowledge of fabric conversion and yardage estimation.
- Ability to complete special projects as assigned.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, run, and climb stairs for the duration of shift.
- Must have the ability to access all properties and areas.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Ability to use equipment including, but not limited to a telephone, sewing machine, blind hemmers, and steamers.
- Manual dexterity to sew by hand and operate job related equipment.
- Ability to stand and/or sit for duration of scheduled shift.
- Hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to reach a height of up to 6 feet.
- Ability to read, write and input data into the computer.
- Ability to stoop, crouch and kneel.
