Gundersen Health System is seeking a Scheduling Specialist - Developer for our Patient Access Strategic Work Team. This is your opportunity to use your deep understanding of Scheduling to help make important changes in the access to care for our patients.
What you will do:
- Fulfill an hourly position with YOUR CHOICE of a 0.8, 0.9, or 1.0 FTE!
- Work Monday through Friday, normal business hours. No weekends, holidays, or call obligations!
- Work closely with the Patient Access Strategic Work Team members, including the solution owner, data analyst, and Registered Nurse.
- Collaborate with department leaders and staff to identify issues, develop ideas, and implement changes in clinical workflows that help achieve organizational goals related to patient access
- Report out on results to senior leaders with the Strategic Work Team members

- Shift: Monday-Friday, Days
- Remote Eligible, once appropriately trained (occasional requirements to be onsite to assist with rolling out new solutions)

What you need:
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- A passion for process improvement and patient experience
- Ability to go with the flow and think abstractly
- 1 year experience in an office setting requiring customer service responsibilities.
