The Development Coordinator is responsible for working with the Executive Director, Foundation Coordinator and Board of Directors to plan and organize fundraising events, coordinate volunteers and donors, solicit sponsorships and maintain responsibility for all grant writing activities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum five years’ experience working in nonprofit organizations doing development work
Licenses/Certification: Valid driver’s license
Required Knowledge, Skills and Ability: Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision-making, possesses excellent interpersonal skills with potential donors and the general public, demonstrates creativity in planning and executing fundraising events, extensive experience with successful grant writing, possesses the ability to work independently
Compensation: $26.60 - $33.70/hr, depending on experience.

PRN staff are not initially eligible for benefits, and GVH follows all Affordable Health Care Act Eligibility guidelines.
