Guy’s Quality Meats in Fort Pierce, FL is looking for a Full-time Sales Associate/Account Representative.
Responsibilities:
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
- Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
- Estimate or quote prices.
- Consult with clients after sales or contract in order to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Prepare quotes and bids that meet specific customer needs.
- Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing.
- Keeping a clean work area.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.
- Assist in completing price changes within the department.
Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills.
- Provide friendly, prompt, efficient, and courteous guest service.
- Promote sales by assisting customers and offering suggestions.
- Food experience.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Good organization skills -- prioritize work assignments and manage work time.
- Use of computers, computer operating systems and software programs.
- High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Previous Sales, Retail, or related experience, preferred.
