Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Expeditor to join our team. As an Expeditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively will contribute to providing exceptional customer service.

Duties:

- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders

- Communicate with servers and other front-of-house staff to ensure accurate order information

- Inspect food orders for accuracy, quality, and presentation before they are served

- Organize and prioritize food orders based on timing and customer preferences

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to resolve any issues or delays in food preparation

- Monitor inventory levels of necessary supplies and communicate any shortages to management

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expediting area

- Ensuring food is delivered to correct patrons

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

- Ability to work as a team with not only our BOH but also FOH members

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
