Your Mission: 

The Vice President of Human Resources will be providing strategic direction and leadership in developing and executing HR initiatives that optimize our workforce, align with organizational objectives, and foster sustainable growth. You will be instrumental in implementing the management philosophy on hiring and developing people, nurturing company culture and ensuring the effective management of our most valuable asset – our people.

You Will:  

  • Lead the strategic direction of the HR function, providing guidance and oversight to ensure alignment with organizational goals and values. coaching Bringing leadership and mentorship to grow and optimize the HR and recruiting recruitment team.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address complex people-related challenges and develop innovative solutions to drive operational organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide executive-level coaching and guidance to senior leaders on matters related to talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement.
  • Provide process and implementation for floor managers management to be upskilled in employee management. in corrective actions, training & development plans, employee relations, terminations, etc.
  • Drive the development and implementation of HR policies, practices, and initiatives that promote a culture of inclusivity, excellence, and continuous improvement compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, while also maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity. These include but are not limited to FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, OSHA, Title VII, and proper workplace investigation procedures. 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement strategic workforce planning initiatives, policies, procedures, and programs to attract and retain employees.
  • Drive initiatives related to employee development, training, and engagement.
  • Oversee the monitoring, analysis, and reporting of key HR metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the President and executive team to align HR strategies with overall business objectives. on HR-related matters, providing strategic insights and recommendations to support organizational success.

  

You Have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.  Master’s degree preferred.  SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus.
  • 10 years of progressive leadership experience in HR, with a strong background in developing and executing strategic HR initiatives in a complex organizational environment in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to think critically and analytically to solve complex problems and drive organizational change.
  • Proven leader in employee retention and turnover reduction.
