Job Responsibilities:
Verify and lay out points for construction site activities, such as location, depth, size, etc. based on established site control points. Track construction site progress by maintaining up to date documentation of as-built quantities and conditions. Collaborate with project managers and general contractors to conform temporary and permanent work with contract drawings and other contractors’ work. Coordinate and schedule equipment/manpower to service multiple construction sites throughout Northern New England.
Key Result Areas:
· Collaborating with Professionals: Work closely with construction workers, engineers, project managers, and other professionals to determine precise locations, elevations, and dimensions of building, highway, and treatment plant features.
· Creating Records: Create detailed records of survey results, including organizing and presenting monitoring data in a clear format.
· Supervising Staff: Critical support to field construction staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
· Preparing As-Built Reports: Prepare plans and summaries of as-built conditions for project records and acceptance.
· Survey Equipment: Purchase and maintain in excellent condition.

· Attention to Detail: A keen eye for measurements ensures precision in survey results.
· Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse disciplines, such as construction professionals, clients, engineers, and architects.
· Great organizational and leadership skills
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results.
· Working knowledge of CAD software, Total Stations, and GPS systems is important.
Education and Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor or Associate degree in Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or relevant field preferred
· Technology Proficiency: Knowledge of CAD software, Total Stations, and GPS systems is important.
· Hands-on experience with engineering instruments and proficiency in Total Stations and GPS systems.
· Prior experience as a construction surveyor, project surveyor, or land surveyor is advantageous.
