To support our manufacturing and warehouse campus locations, the H-E-B Industrial Facility Services team provides maintenance, repair, and construction in ammonia refrigeration, plant utilities, automated systems, and building services.As a Building & Grounds Industrial Maintenance Partner, you'll maintain H-E-B facilities and systems in a professional manner to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability. 'Partner-owned' means our most important resources--People--drive the innovation, growth, and success that makes H-E-B The Greatest Omnichannel Retailing Company.Do you have a:HEART FOR PEOPLE... willingness to be respectful to / honest with others?HEAD FOR BUSINESS... ability to seek out opportunities to learn / develop yourself?PASSION FOR RESULTS... initiative?We are looking for:- a high school diploma- experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic / pneumatic systems, or construction tradesWhat is the work?Maintenance / Troubleshooting / Repair & Replacement:Buildings- Performs basic office remodel skills- Applies knowledge of proper dock maintenance methods - Repairs / replaces basic plumbing fixturesMechanical- Repairs / lubes / changes out / performs preventive maintenance (PM) on sprockets, bearings, belts, and sheaves on industrial equipment- Resets auto doors, auto gates, and entry / exit turnstilesHydraulics & Pneumatics- Performs skill-level appropriate PM on hydraulic and pneumatic systemsFire Systems- Applies knowledge of wet systems to assist in troubleshooting / repair / replacementElectrical- Troubleshoots / repairs basic 120/277 VAC circuits for lighting and equipment- Adheres to safe practices when working with electrical equipmentWhat is your background?- High school diploma- 1 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic / pneumatic systems, or construction tradesDo you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B B&G Industrial Maintenance Partner?- Working knowledge / understanding of the principles of 3-phase AC voltage sources (480 VAC), the functions and use of amp meters and multimeters, and Ohm's law- Strong organization and time-management skills- Written / verbal communication skills- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; attention to detail- InitiativeCan you...- Work while standing, sitting, stooping, walking, bending, with hands over head, and in prone position- Climb; work from a ladder and other elevated work platforms (manlift, scissor lift, catwalk, silo)- Lift and carry 75 lbs- Work in extreme temperatures ranging from -20 to 130 degrees08-2018
